Trim the wick to 1/4-inch prior to each lighting. Place on a heat-resistant, non-flammable surface and keep away from drafts and walls. Burn for at least 2–3 hours on the first use, then no more than three hours at a time. Discontinue use when 1/2-inch of wax remains. When your candle is finished, repurpose and reuse the vessel.
