How to Use

Light the candle at the start of the evening ritual, then gradually dim the lights. Its soothing fragrance evokes the comforting atmosphere of a serene day’s end, a gentle guide toward calm. As an exceptional artisanal creation, the Diptyque candle deserves the utmost care.Here are a few tips to maximize its lifespan and enjoy it safely.• Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.• Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble by placing the candle on a tray or coaster.• Keep the candle away from flammable materials.• Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.Lighting the Candle• Use a match to avoid any risk of burns.• For the first burn, allow the candle to burn until the entire surface of the wax has liquefied (approximately 4 hours, depending on the fragrance). This prevents the wax from tunneling and ensures the wick is fully saturated, guaranteeing an even burn thereafter. The wick may emit a slight amount of smoke when first lit.While Burning• Do not let the candle burn for more than 4 consecutive hours after the initial burn.• Never leave a burning candle unattended.• Do not move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is still hot.• Keep the candle away from drafts.• Leave a distance of at least 10 cm (4 inches) between candles.
